Brian Hock Design was honored this past week by having an Advertisement selected as a Design Merit Award in the 2007 AIGA Origination Design Awards. Brian Hock was on hand to personally receive the honor at the show in Cincinnati on May 24, 2007.
The selected design was an Advertisement that Brian Hock designed and art directed for the designerID.com launch campaign. The judges that made this selection were Michael Hodgson of phD (Los Angeles), Monica Little of Little & Company (Minneapolis) and Christopher Simmons of MINE (San Francisco).
The AIGA Origination Design Competition was started back in 2004 by Brian when he was serving as President of the AIGA Cincinnati Chapter. Brian commented “It’s great to see this competition grow and evolve with new leadership and greater regional involvement in both the competition entries and show attendance.”
